A Day at the Airport and a Dinner for Four

We stayed our first night at a hostel in Incheon. We, or I should say I, had hoped to sleep in, but Katie had other plans and woke up at 6:30am instead.
She says she's back on Korean time (she remembers this time zone), I think it's more like jet lag.

Our hostel in Incheon (near the airport).

We got a ride back to the airport at 11:50am and bought our bus tickets to the town Angie lives in, Dangjin, for 5:30pm. We debated on whether or not we should explore the city, but thought it best to just stick around the airport rather than risk the chance of getting lost in Incheon and missing our bus.

We had lunch and the airport, pizza and strawberry smoothies to drink.

And ran into a Korean celebrity!

Apparently this guy is really famous in Korea. We asked someone and they said he is a famous fighter.
He is also, really, really tall (it's not trick photography).

We think his name is Choi Hong-man or Hong-man Choi.

With not much else to do we decided to hang around the airport until our bus left at 5:30pm. So we went to the Jamba Juice and ordered some Orange Dream Machines and sat down and watched a movie on my laptop. (Man On A Ledge, which was pretty good, but I guessed all the plot twits before they happened so perhaps it was a little to predictable.)

Views from the bus.

We arrived in Dangjin at 7pm and then Angie, Terri (Angie's sister), Katie and I went out to dinner.
We had shabushabu for dinner. Shaved pork dropped into boiling broth with whatever vegetables you want to add to it and a buffet of Korean foods (and I actually tried a mushroom).

It's a good thing they have spoons because these chopsticks just aren't working. I'm convinced mine were broken!

Dangjin

Then Katie went to bed (the effects of her Korean clock being turned back on or jet lag) and Angie, Terri and I made our plans for the week.
Explore Dangjin on Tuesday and Seoul on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
