We left Katie's house at 6:15am on Saturday morning and arrived at our hostel in Inchon at 10pm on Sunday. So that makes total travel time of just about 26 hours.
We met Patrick in the immigration line while talking about how slow the immigration officer was for the line we were in. When I said "Now we just have to figure out how to call the hostel" he stopped to help us out. He lives and works in Korea and he and his significant other were very kind and led us to the free phone and called the hostel for us because he spoke Korean.
In Chicago waiting for our 12 hours flight to Tokyo.
Dang that's big. (That's what she said.)
Katie's first plane meal.
That's ice near Alaska we think.
A view from our seats. Way, way, way in the back of the plane.
Genuine sushi, straight from Japan. (1 California roll, no avocado = ¥1,365 or $17.28.)
Was it worth it? No she says.)
